Executive coach hire specialist Westway Coach Services has taken delivery of a pair of low-emission ADL Enviro400 buses, supplied by Alexander Dennis (ADL).
They are possibly the last diesel vehicles the operator will buy, as it looks to reduce its impact on the environment.
The buses are 11.5m long examples with 85 seats. They are finished in Westway’s distinctive bronze metallic paint and branding, with what ADL describes as “bespoke, high-specification” interiors.
Customer-friendly features include belted high-back seats in automotive grade quilted leather, USB charging points, a radio with PA system, and wood-effect flooring.
“We pride ourselves on delivering luxury travel while at the same time minimising the impact of our operations on the environment,” says Westway Coach Services Managing Director David West. “These will likely be the last diesel vehicles we will buy.
“These buses are a great addition to our fleet and we look forward to helping even more people enjoy our high-quality travel in the future.”
Mark Taylor, ADL Sales Account Manager, adds: “We’re delighted to have supplied these two high-spec vehicles to Westway. Mr West and his team are always a pleasure to work with. These vehicles look fantastic and will complement the company’s existing fleet perfectly.”
