The latest Passenger Plus Irizar i6 integral is the fourth for its fleet

Kent operator Passenger Plus has added a fourth i6 integral to its 30-strong fleet, supplied by Irizar UK (01909 500514).

Its arrival means that just five of Passenger Plus’ vehicles do not satisfy Euro 6. Managing Director Mark Drury says that the operator has as good as standardised on the Irizar integral product.

“The 12.9m, two-axle model suits what we do,” he explains. “Our fleet, which extends from eight- to 53-seaters, spends a lot of time in London, so it’s essential that we have Euro 6 drivelines.”

The latest addition has a DAF MX-11 engine rated at 370bhp coupled to ZF’s fully-automatic EcoLife gearbox. In addition to the normal Irizar UK specification, it also includes USB charging points and CCTV.
