Seven more Tourismos have joined the Redwing Coaches fleet in 2017

London operator Redwing Coaches has taken delivery of a further seven Mercedes-Benz Tourismos, supplied by EvoBus (UK) (02476 626000). They follow 19 Tourismos received in 2016.

Six of the new additions are built to a PSVAR-compliant specification that includes LED destination displays and wheelchair lifts. All of the new coaches have 53 Travel Star Eco seats with red leather inserts and three-point belts.

They are powered by the OM 470 engine rated at 390bhp driving through ZF’s EcoLife automatic gearbox.

Says Lee Hake, Area Sales Manager: “I’m delighted once again to work with such a highly regarded operator. The quality of its service is beyond passengers’ expectations and this is reflected in the repeat purchase of the Tourismo.”
