Ridleys Coaches has completed receipt of nine Irizar integral models, supplied by Irizar UK. The order is made up of two i8 integrals and seven i6S Efficient examples.
Eight of the models were delivered earlier this year and are to varying Leger Shearings specification. Of those, the i8 integral pair are to Luxuria standard for use on that high-end work, while one of the i6S Efficient deliveries is configured for Silver Service duties. Five more are dedicated to use on Shearings tours.
The final i6S Efficient (pictured) is a 14m tri-axle in a metallic silver livery for Ridleys’ private hire work. It carries 61 passengers in i6 Plus seats trimmed in a mix of fabric and synthetic leather, with USB charging points, drop-down tables, magazine nets and multi-position footrests also part of the seat specification.
A centre sunken toilet is fitted along with wood effect flooring, a Bosch Smart Series audio-visual system and a built-in vacuum cleaner. Power is from the DAF MX-11 engine developing 449bhp driving through a ZF Traxon 12-speed automated manual gearbox.
