Eavesway Travel of Ashton-in-Makerfield has added a second Yutong TC9, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach.
It joins an earlier example delivered in 2022 and, like that coach, has been built to order by the manufacturer. The new TC9 comes with the same white leather seat finish as used previously, including blue trim, and which extends to the courier’s position.
USB and 240 volt charging outlets and a factory-fitted rear toilet also form part of the specification, among other amenities. The coach is PSVAR ready, with an additional door cut ahead of the rear axle in preparation for possible later full conversion.
The sale was handled by Pelican Area Sales Manager Amelia Crump and the new TC9 was painted at the factory in China.
Power in the coach comes from a Cummins ISB6.7 engine developing 320bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox to complete a package “that gives Eavesway Travel the customer experience it is looking for,” says Pelican UK Coach Sales Manager Simon Collins.
