Spencer Graham Coaches has taken delivery of a third Neoplan Tourliner, supplied by MAN Truck and Bus. It is a 13.1m, two-axle P10 example that seats 57 and which is PSVAR compliant, and it joins existing P20 and P21 models in the Silloth fleet.
Accommodation for a wheelchair user is provided thanks to a number of sliding seat pairs, which can be moved easily to create the necessary space. Access to that area is via a large additional door over the front axle, with the lift thus not compromising luggage space.
Speaking about the delivery, Director Emma Robinson (pictured above, right) says: “Our commitment to invest in our fleet has continued due to increased demand for our services, both locally and nationally.
“We pride ourselves on supplying customers with high-quality vehicles and the Neoplan product fits our business perfectly.”
Ms Robinson and the new coach’s driver Toni Coupland (pictured above, left) collected the Tourliner, which will be used on work including private hire, tours, staff and school transport, and rail replacement.
Power is from the 12.4 litre MAN D26 engine developing 430bhp driving through a ZF EcoLife six-speed automatic gearbox. A cherished registration mark completes the vehicle.
