Taunton School has taken delivery of a K 410 EB with Interlink bodywork, supplied by Scania Great Britain (01909 500822).
It is the first 57-seat Interlink delivered to the UK and has been built to the school’s specification. That includes three-point belts, USB charging points for each passenger and a DVD player.
Feedback from pupils and drivers has been good, says the school.
The coach will be used on various work, including travel to events, trips and sporting fixtures across the UK. A second Scania Interlink to the same specification is scheduled for delivery to Taunton School in due course.
The first coach is subject to a two-year repair and maintenance package. It is looked after by the local dealership, Scania Bridgwater.
