Taw and Torridge Coaches of Barnstaple has taken delivery of its first bus from Alexander Dennis in the form of a 10.8m Enviro200.

It comes with 41 SmartSeats that are covered in synthetic leather and also has LED headlights, alloy wheels, a digital tachograph, wood effect flooring and tinted windows. The driveline is made up of the four-cylinder Cummins ISB4.5 engine coupled to an Allison gearbox.

Says Managing Director Mark Hunt: “We are delighted to have taken delivery of this new vehicle. It will complement our existing fleet perfectly and help us to continue to offer high-quality, reliable and comfortable services to our many customers.”

Adds Alexander Dennis Sales Account Manager Mark Taylor: “It has been a pleasure to work with the team at Taw and Torridge and I know that this Enviro200 will be an excellent addition to its fleet. We look forward to working with the operator again in the future.”
