The new VDL Futura FDD2 for Thandi Coaches has no fewer than 94 seats

Thandi Coaches, of Smethwick, has joined an exclusive club by taking delivery of a VDL Futura FDD2 double-decker, supplied by Moseley (PCV) (01977 609000).

It has no fewer than 94 Vogel LS40 seats that are trimmed with leather headrests and piping, and the seats’ red and black scheme matches the exterior of the coach.

The driver and courier seats are covered in matching leather, and the driver also benefits from a leather-finished steering wheel.

Other passenger-friendly aspects include a Bosch Professional Line entertainment system along with a water/chemical combination toilet and multiple fridges.

Power comes from the DAF MX-13 engine rated at 510bhp, coupled to a ZF AS-Tronic automated manual gearbox. The FDD2 also has a tow bar fitted.
