Prentice of Haddington has added another Alexander Dennis Enviro200 to its fleet. The 21-plate example joins two earlier identical buses that were delivered in January. Like them, it has the manufacturer’s SmartPack efficient diesel technology, which enables the model to achieve Low Emission Bus certification by Zemo Partnership.
The 10.8m newcomer has 41 SmartSeats with belts and it is equipped with dedicated wheelchair and buggy bays. Wi-fi and USB charging points are also fitted.
Prentice of Haddington Managing Director Ross Prentice says: “We are very pleased to take delivery of another new Enviro200. It is important to us that we minimise out impact on the environment while delivering the quality of services that our customers expect. These vehicles offer the ideal solution.
“We have worked with ADL for a long time, and we look forward to working together for many more years to come.”
Adds ADL Sales Account Manager for Scotland and North West England Charlie Miller: “With this further order, Prentice of Haddington is again showing its commitment to delivering low-carbon, high-quality buses for its customers. It is always a pleasure to work with this family-run operator.”
