The Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership (LowCVP) will hold its free-to-attend virtual Annual Conference on Wednesday 15 July. It is called Reset 2020: Driving the Green Recovery.
The event will question how the opportunity for an investment-led green recovery in road transport can be seized. It will bring together stakeholders to share and discuss new policy ideas that could help to shape and deliver LowCVP’s Transport Decarbonisation Plan.
As part of the published agenda, speakers are to include Secretary of State for Transport Grant Shapps, Confederation of Passenger Transport Chief Executive Graham Vidler and LowCVP Chair Philip Sellwood. A fuller list of those who will address delegates, and more details of the conference, can be found here.
Ahead of the Annual Conference, LowCVP is asking stakeholders to complete a short survey looking at whether disruption caused by the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic has opened the door to more ambitious and innovative policies to decarbonise road transport and accelerate the net zero transition. The survey has 10 questions and takes a few minutes to complete.
LowCVP adds that the conference will involve opportunities for attendees to interact and network, and to learn more about the future of UK road transport.
