Kailash Chander, 79, a former Leamington Spa mayor, is due to appear at Coventry Magistrates charged with causing death and serious injury by dangerous driving. 
Two people were killed when the Stagecoach double-decker he was driving went out of control in Coventry in October 2015.
Stagecoach, charged with two offences under the Health and Safety at Work Act, is due in court the same day.
