A driver has been awarded nearly £500 in unpaid wages and holiday pay at Watford Employment Tribunal after making claims against Naughton Mini Coach Services of Chesham.
Ramen Mabed left the firm, but complained he had not been fully paid. The firm was said to have fully co-operated with the tribunal.
Tribunal Judge Manley decided that Mr Mabed’s claims were well founded and awarded him £360 for one week’s unpaid wages and £202 for an unpaid one day’s pay.
A ‘traffic deduction’ of £65 was approved by the judge making the total award of £495.
A spokesman for the firm said after the hearing that they had made Mr Mabed an offer before the tribunal hearing went ahead, which he had rejected.
