0% median pay gap at Reading Buses

The median pay gap at Reading Buses is 0% for the second year running.

Reading also reports female employees is growing at a faster pace than new male members of staff, with the number of male employees rising by 5% while the number of female employees rising by 13%.  

“Equality and diversity are long-standing company values and we are proud of this record,” says HR Director Caroline Anscombe.

“Nearly 40% of our trainee bus drivers recruited this year have so far been women.”

It has been two years since companies with over 250 employees were obliged to report their gender pay gap to the Government Equalities Office.
