The Alfa Leisureplex Group has bought its 21st hotel: The Monarch Hotel in Bridlington, East Yorkshire.
The company, based in Chorley, Lancashire, operates close to 50 tour coaches alongside its hotel portfolio.
It is the first and so far only employee-owned travel company in the UK, with its 700 staff taking equal shares of its profits.
