Arriva Yorkshire bus driver, Adam Gaunt, inspired children at Alverthorpe Saint Paul’s C E School when he volunteered his time to talk to them about his career.

Adam volunteered his time to tell schoolchildren about bus driving

He took along a ticket machine, driver uniforms and some cardboard model buses for the children, while teaching them about bus travel, its benefits, and safety tips when boarding buses.

Says Adam: “I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the school. It was great to educate the students and I think they really enjoyed it and learnt a lot.”
