Running a fleet with a mixture of analogue and digital tachograph-equipped vehicles can be tricky to deal with when chart analysis is required, but TruTac solved this problem for Middlesex operator Falcon Coaches with its CPT Tacho Analysis service.
“No other supplier offered a system where our drivers could simply scan their analogue charts in any order and where the software provider would then enter the centrefield information,” says Managing Director Richard Telling.
“Our previous system was incredibly time-consuming because someone had to enter the data manually. We have saved two days’ work for one person by using CPT Tacho Analysis.”
Falcon Coaches has also adopted TruTac’s TruChecks software, which is a digital vehicle walk-round checking system. Richard adds that any concerns about having to spend a long time familiarising staff with new software are unfounded with TruTac’s offerings.
“It didn’t take much training to get used to the new system. The people at TruTac have been very helpful, and when we did have a few issues at the beginning, they quickly sorted things out. The transition has been very simple.”
