Polish minibus manufacturer Bus Factory has its sights firmly on the UK

One of two Polish minibus converters new to the UK and new to EBE was Bus Factory, which attracted favourable comments with its £89,000 Skylite GT based on Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis cowl.

The Skylite GT on display was the Panoramic version with three large sections of glazing in the roof to give it what company representative Piotr Brelecki describes as its “unique selling point.”

In other respects, the Skylite offers a comprehensive specification compatible with many other converters’ products.

The company is based in Wejherowo in northern Poland where its factory has an output of 70 units per annum.

Currently selling in markets in northern Europe, it stated its ambitions by exhibiting at Busworld Kortrijk where, according to Mr Brelecki, “It created a lot of UK interest.”

With a new 11,000m2 plant due to open in late 2019 and Sales Manager Marek Janczarek establishing a sales outlet in Chessington, Surrey, the firm is looking for its first UK customer.
