Chalkwell of Sittingbourne is defying President Donald Trump’s ban on people from Muslim countries being allowed to travel.
It has announced plans to create new job opportunities for anyone fleeing the seven countries specified by President Trump.
“We shall make them most welcome in Sittingbourne,” says Chalkwell’s Commercial Director Roland Eglinton.
“We currently have vacancies for bus and coach drivers, trainee drivers, and skilled bus and coach mechanics.

“It is ludicrous in 2017 that people are rejected based on their faith or country of origin. We want to employ bright, friendly people regardless of their background.
“We operate local bus services as well as coach hire for schools, colleges and private organisations. In order to deliver these services, we need to employ the right calibre of people and are prepared to provide training where needed.
“We recently launched a programme of trips to concerts at The 02 and Wembley, whereby people who have already bought a ticket to the event can book a seat on one of our coaches and take all of the hassle out of travel.
“We have coaches going to the X Factor Live, Take That and Adele for example, and with so many events happening all of the time we foresee there being a big demand.
“Anyone wishing to apply for one of these positions should visit www.chalkwell.co.uk/about/careers without delay,” he added.
