Paul Nutzfahrzeuge GmbH has launched its Digital Vehicle Scan (DVS) unit.
The DVS system quickly checks and records vehicle condition and any repairs that are required, and it can accommodate all coaches and buses from small vehicles to double-deckers.
The inspection takes 20 seconds. Damage is documented and the manufacturer says that it makes the system particularly suitable for fleets where a large number of drivers handle the same vehicle.
The DVS unit is fully automated and as a result it is also highly suited to rental fleets.
