Coach operators have been invited to attend the RHA Forum for the Future later this year. The trade body says it will provide road transport operators “with the insight, knowledge and tools required for navigating the road ahead.”
The new event will be held on 21 September at The Vox in Birmingham. It will look at topics including sustainability, alternative fuels, rising costs, recruitment, and mental health.
Among speakers already announced are BP Head of UK Fleet Solutions Adrian Brabazon, Federation of Small Businesses National Char Martin McTague, Founder of Diversity in Recruitment Jo Major, and Zemo Partnership Chief Executive Andy Eastlake. Various exhibitors will also be present.
RHA Operations Manager – Coach Sector Andy Warrender says that Forum for the Future “is shaping up to be a must-attend event for all coach operators that want to future-proof their businesses.”
Mr Warrender adds: “We have a number of top-quality speakers confirmed who will be tackling some of the key challenges our sector is facing and providing attendees with the latest knowledge and insight to help them stay ahead of the competition.”
RHA Managing Director Richard Smith describes the Forum as “an exciting new venture” for the trade body. “It promises to be a key event in the calendar for members and others who are looking to future-proof their businesses,” he says.
Attendees of the Forum will receive refreshments through the day, a three-course sit-down lunch and networking opportunities. Tickets are £100 excluding VAT for RHA members and £150 for non-members, with discounts for full tables. Numbers are limited, however.
The current speaker line-up is available online, as is ticket purchasing.
