A new network of bus services aimed at shoppers has been launched to link certain local communities and villages with town centres and supermarkets in the Nottingham area.

CT4N, which is part of Nottingham Community Transport, says the new services are providing links that were lost many years ago.

The services, which run Monday-Friday during daytimes, include Lowdham, Calverton, Woodborough and Lambley to Arnold on Mondays and Netherfield Morrisons on Wednesdays and Fridays.

“I am delighted that CT4N are offering these services that not only cover Calverton but connects to many local villages then onto both Arnold and Netherfield,” says Sherwood MP, Mark Spencer, who attended the 1 October launch of the new services.

“We’ve had lots of requests from residents for better links from these areas, so we are delighted to launch these new Shopper services to serve the local community,” says CT4N Managing Director, Ian Combellack.
