Making its Euro Bus Expo debut, Seeing Machines used the show to officially launch its next generation driver monitoring solution to the UK market.
Guardian is a real-time driver fatigue and distraction detection solution that uses advanced algorithms to detect the driver’s state and provide in-cab alerts to warn the driver if they’re at risk of having an accident.
The technology had presence on two stands – its own in the Technology Zone and on Chapman Driver Seating's where it was part of Chapman’s interactive demonstration of its new technology seat for bus drivers.
Says Alastair Protheroe, Director, Business Development (Europe and Africa): “We have projects and deployments running with the large public transport organisations in the UK and globally, so it was an opportunity to demonstrate and explain more about the technology to a diverse group of people.”
