Freeway Fleet Systems was talking about integration, as it promoted mobile apps for operators.
It launched new driver’s running card software, linked to its easy-to-use apps for driver walk-round checks. When the walk-round check is completed, they can get the bus route details on their smartphone without having to visit the traffic office, saving time.
The walk-round check is linked to the traffic office, so reported defects are instantly uploaded to the workshop.
The firm also launched an electronic 24-hour worksheet for planning and managing workshop schedules, replacing the traditional A3 document.
