Conor McPherson’s play Girl from the North Country, featuring the music of Bob Dylan, is set to transfer to the West End this December.
Currently playing at the Old Vic, the play will open at the Noel Coward Theatre on 29 December, and will run until 31 March 2018.
The play is set in the town of Duluth, Minnesota (where Bob Dylan grew up) in the midst of the Great Depression and tells the stories of the numerous visitors who pass through a guest house.
Conor McPherson, who also directed the piece, wrote Girl from the North Country after the Nobel Prize-winning songwriter’s management approached him to write a piece using Bob Dylan’s songs.
Casting for the West End transfer is to be announced.
