The Ironbridge Gorge Museums have announced details of new group packages to celebrate the Trust’s 50th anniversary.
The new six-hour Very Victorian Tour begins with a visit to the all-new Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron and Old Furnace, where Abraham Darby’s innovation kick-started the Industrial Revolution.
The tour then goes to Blists Hill Victorian Town, where lunch can be provided at one of the cafés, before a stop at Jackfield Tile Museum.
At Coalport China Museum, groups can enjoy a full day posy bowl-making workshop, to make, decorate and glaze their own ceramic piece. It’s £35pp and includes refreshments, lunch and a guided tour of the museum.
Jackfield Tile Museum is also offering a half-day Curator’s Tour. It’s £15pp including a cream tea.
The Museums are offering a gold ticket winter discount, with 50% off group prices from 6 November-31 March 2018 to celebrate the anniversary.
