Higer has shared details of its V-Series coach range that is set for Europe, including the UK and Ireland via partnership with Dublin importer Harris Bus and Coach where it will sit alongside the Azure battery-electric bus.
Three V-Series were at Busworld, all using battery-electric power. Diesel products are set to lead the Higer coach line in right-hand drive, with Harris Bus and Coach having previously said that it will import the V10 and V12 two-axle models and the tri-axle V13.
Higer Executive Vice-President Leo Zheng explains how the V-Series utilises a modular concept for body and chassis and deploys a “smart cockpit” design. He adds that the range will form “a complete coach platform” built around the attributes of value, vector, and vision.
Over 5,000 V-Series coaches have already been sold into 30 countries. The wider range for Europe will extend from eight to 14 metres and accommodate what Higer says are “all power types.”
Mr Zheng observes how the modular nature of the V-Series will benefit parts holding. Higer already has a European parts centre in Luxembourg and more will be established, including in the UK. A European training centre will follow.

One of the three Higer V-Series exhibits at Busworld was a V12E Pro battery-electric coach. Bound for Iceland, the 12.4m product has up to 55 seats and can carry a wheelchair user.
It comes with a claimed 500km range, and batteries are subject to a 15-year or 1.5 million km warranty. A further V12E and a V13E completed the coach showing, with the builder stating that battery-electrics build on the existing V-Series foundation.
Mr Zheng notes how since Higer’s previous appearance at Busworld in 2023, battery technology has advanced significantly – but he is another figure in the manufacturing field to highlight how infrastructure for zero-emission coaches remains wanting.
