Paramount Conversions has reaffirmed its relationship with Whitburn, West Lothian-based dealer Coachtraders, for deliveries to British operators and displayed its first Iveco Daily minicoach in Dublin.
It used the CTTC Coach & Bus Show in the Irish capital to reveal the new minibus design which it says offers a special proposition.
The Co Offaly-based converter says that the Daily’s attraction is its high GVW That allows a high specification to be fitted to 22-seat versions, that can also include double-glazed side windows or a wheelchair lift.
Also displayed at the 10th biennial Irish show by Paramount was a Volkswagen New Crafter conversion with a sliding side door.
At 5,000kg GVW and in extra-long wheelbase form, a maximum of 22 seats can be accommodated if weight is optimised, the converter says. Paramount is currently examining a plug door fitment for this model.
Additionally, Paramount has already converted its first new-model Mercedes-Benz Sprinters in medium and long wheelbase form. Extra-long wheelbase models will follow in 2019, it adds.
