BNG Coaches of Buxton is among buyers of the Daily-based midicoach

Ilesbus UK has recorded a strong first three months of trading, with orders for 18 vehicles taken so far.

It is the UK subsidiary of Turkish bodybuilder and converter Ilesbus. Products are built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Vito and Iveco Daily vehicles, and it has also reported excellent interest at Euro Bus Expo.

Among buyers to sign for vehicles are Travelstar Gatwick, which has ordered two 29-seat Iveco Dailys; BNG Coaches of Buxton (pictured), which has taken one of the same type; and Readybus of Slough, which has completed a deal for four Dailys.

Ian’s Coaches of Kinglassie has committed to a 16-seat, high-specification Daily and several other buyers have ordered Sprinter conversions.

Additionally, work is proceeding on a right-hand drive midicoach built on the Mercedes-Benz Atego chassis. Ilesbus says the first is likely to be complete at the Bursa factory by the end of February. The left-hand drive prototype was under construction in September.
