Former Totalkare Sales and Marketing Director James Radford (pictured) has joined independent broker PMD Business Finance as Business Development Director.
James, who is now a non-executive Director at Totalkare after spending 29 years as Sales and Marketing Director, will in his new role with PMD focus on developing business financing opportunities with coach and bus operators and hauliers.
“During my years at Totalkare I have spent time covering sales all over the UK and I also managed our national accounts for 10 years, as well as building and managing the sales team,” he says. “I have spent lots of time face-to-face with customers working out not just technically which product is best for them, but also from a financial point of view what works best for them.
“Having supplied equipment to customers and always offering an alternative option to outright purchase, with either lease, hire purchase or contract hire packages, business finance was always something that had interested me.
“I’m looking forward to being able to offer my contacts the full range of business finance services that PMD offers, allowing them to develop at their own pace without any funding restrictions. The facilities include all forms of asset finance, invoice finance, business loans, acquisition finance and property finance.”
PMD has been Totalkare’s finance partner for the past 13 years and comprises a lending panel of over 150 difference finance providers.
Lee Schofield, Director of PMD adds: “We’re delighted that James Radford is joining the PMD team and we’re looking forward to him developing our reputation within the coach and bus industry.
“We’ve worked alongside James for the last 13 years and his approach to customers and his ethic match that of PMD’s, making it a perfect fit.”
