Importer the Harris Group continues to promote its Mini B range. Based on the LDV V80, the minibuses can be ordered directly from the UK’s 34 LDV dealerships and a short lead time is promised.
The Mini B can carry up to 14 passengers and it is available with both a front and side entrance, says Harris Group Marketing and New Product Director Chris Haughton.
“We have had a good response to the Mini B and we recently delivered 10 to a rental company in Staffordshire,” he says.
“All variants, including minicoaches and an accessible version with an inboard wheelchair lift, can be ordered via LDV dealers. The accessible minibus can accommodate two wheelchair users.”
Conversion work is undertaken after the V80s arrive in Ireland and high-specification models are available, says Mr Haughton. Options include a DVD player, a front-facing camera, USB charging points, wi-fi and others.
All LDVs currently available are Euro 5 models, but the Harris Group expects Euro 6 versions – with a new engine and a facelift – to follow. Electric V80s will also arrive in 2018.
