Lincolnshire County Council has purchased an ex-demonstrator Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with Strata HF bodywork, supplied by Mellor Coachcraft (01706 860610).
It joins the CallConnect fleet and will be used in and around the Mablethorpe and Skegness areas. The flexible interior arrangement was a particular attraction.
The high-floor Strata HF is aimed primarily at the community transport and local authority sectors.
It is fully accessible, with a rear-mounted wheelchair lift, and it comes with a 2+2 seating arrangement. In long wheelbase form it can carry up to seven wheelchair users.
