McGill’s Buses marked reaching the milestone of 12 million miles via battery-electric buses by welcoming Jim Fairlie, Scottish Government Minister for Connectivity, for a tour of its Johnstone depot.
The Scottish independent operator discussed with the MSP its sustainability goals and the minister received chance to explore zero-emissions vehicles.
Mr Fairlie says: “It’s inspiring to see McGill’s Buses at the forefront of Scotland’s transition to greener, cleaner transport.

McGill’s has invested £74 million in fleet and infrastructure as part of its decarbonisation plans.
