MPs have headed to Bristol to hear about the area’s bus services
Lilian Greenwood, Chair of the House of Commons’ Transport Committee was joined by two other committee members, Grahame Morris and Daniel Zeichner, in meeting with Bristol City Council, First Group and the Mayor of Bristol, Marvin Rees, on Monday. In its first public evidence session held outside Westminster, the Transport Committee also heard from the West of England Mayor and Plymouth City Council and Devon County Council representatives.
“Our session with local authorities will give us the opportunity to discover why more people are travelling by bus in and around Bristol,” says Mrs Greenwood.
