The Navya Arma self-driving vehicle returned to London during September when it was demonstrated by transport giant Keolis at the Olympic Park.
Available to the public, trips took 12min to operate. Although the Arma can run at up to 28mph it was limited for the purposes of the trial, and an operator was present at to answer questions.
Keolis and Navya are looking at opportunities to deploy the Arma at a range of locations, including airports, hospitals, university campuses, tourist attractions and shopping centres. Cameras, GPS mapping, odometry and sensors allow the vehicle to drive itself.
