Two new appointments at the Alexander Dennis (ADL) UK and Ireland sales team are set to boost sales of the manufacturer’s zero-emission buses.

Paul Leigh (pictured, left) will join ADL on 1 September as Sales Account Manager for London. The appointment comes after a 15-year career with flooring specialist Altro in which he progressed to UK Bus and Coach Key Account Manager.

Meanwhile, Chris Churchill, who has been with ADL for 11 years and was most recently Contracts Manager for International Sales Projects, will take on the newly created UK and Ireland Technical Sales Manager role.

In the new job Chris will support bus operators and local authorities in the specification and implementation of low-emission, ultra-low-emission and zero-emission buses and infrastructure.

“As we continue to lead the transition to zero-emission mobility, we are delighted to add two experienced colleagues to our UK and Ireland sales team,” says ADL’s UK and Ireland Sales Director Martin Brailey. “Paul’s knowledge and relationships will be key in growing our market-leading footprint in London, where more than half of the bus fleet was built by ADL and we recently handed over our 500th electric bus. Chris’s technical expertise will further boost our delivery of turnkey zero emission bus solutions to bus operators and local authorities working to decarbonise their fleets and improve air quality.”
