In a £1.2m investment, four new Plaxton Elites, have started work on Scottish Citylink’s Fort William-Inverness 919 service.
A new timetable earlier this year has up to five return journeys a day and a direct link to the hospital and the university at Inverness.
The Elites have a toilet, USB ports and reclining seats and replace the current 10-year-old vehicles on the route.
For regular travellers, a Flexi10 ticket for use within 28 days is priced at £27.50 for journeys between Urquhart Castle, Drumnadrochit, Lochend, Dochgarroch and Inverness.
The ticket is available from drivers or online.

Scottish Citylink is a joint venture between Perth-based Stagecoach and international transport operator ComfortDelGro.
