Novadata has launched a new service to help operators preparing to become part of the DVSA Earned Recognition (ER) scheme.
Once an application has been accepted, Novadata, as one of the first UK companies to be listed as an accredited ER auditor, can help by carrying out the initial audit that is required in order to become a full member of ER.
Later, the operator is also able to call on Novadata to assist it with the reporting requirements for both drivers’ hours and maintenance records.
In addition to being an auditor, Novadata is also an accredited provider of IT systems that are compatible with ER in the form of its web-based digital tachograph analysis service.
Says Chairman Derek Broomfield: “We anticipate that most organisations that will apply for ER membership will be well on the way to achieving compliance in key areas, but there is usually room for some improvement.
“By working with us, the operator can put itself ahead of the curve, strengthening its processes in advance of joining ER and allowing it to make a confident and successful application for membership.”
