Quotes search engine Coach Hire Comparison (CHC) will be making available more than £500,000 worth of work at its “£500k Open Day” for coach and minibus operators at London Heathrow Radisson Red Hotel on Wednesday 22 May.
The CMAC Group-owned business is capitalising on its period of boom by extending the invite to operators to meet the CHC team, along with CMAC’s Head of Large Vehicles, Stephen Ramsay.
The majority of the work on offer will be around London and the Home Counties, but the welcome is extended to any operator regardless of location.
The day will run from 0930-1630hrs, with short presentations at 1130hrs and 1330hrs.
Head of CHC Matt Hanson says: “Like the rest of the industry, we are getting incredibly busy and the quality of work that we are securing is improving markedly.
“We have end-of-term school trips, Ascot and Epsom race days, Glastonbury Festival movements, corporate events, a host of summer tours and international summer school requirements, along with many other ad-hoc bookings and are giving suppliers the opportunity to come and discuss the available work with us and secure bookings for their business on the day.
“We also feel that a drop-in day for suppliers to come and meet the team will be highly beneficial as we continue to amalgamate the supply chain for operators on the CMAC and CHC network. We want to align the suppliers in order for them to represent our respective businesses seamlessly. We are also actively seeking new operators because we are in a position to offer both pre-planned and disruption work across the whole of the UK.”
