Senior Traffic Commissioner Richard Turfitt and DVSA Chief Executive Loveday Ryder are to hold a joint presentation at the Confederation of Passenger Transport’s (CPT’s) Compliance Workshop, which is being held on 12 July.

The event is exclusive to CPT members. Mr Turfitt and Ms Ryder will share news and developments from the Office of the Traffic Commissioner (OCT) and DVSA, and will inform attendees how both organisations will be working together to benefit the coach and bus industry. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers.

“I’m really pleased to confirm that both Mr Turfitt and Ms Ryder will be joining CPT at the Compliance Workshop on 12 July,” says CPT Membership Director Chris Nice. “It is great to have two high-profile speakers providing updates on the latest news and developments from OTC and DVSA and finding out how we can all work together more closely to help our industry thrive.

“CPT members will have the opportunity to ask the speakers questions at the end of the event, so I encourage you all to make the most of this opportunity and join the Compliance Workshop. We are looking forward to hearing from them both.”

Adds Ms Ryder: “I’m delighted to be presenting at CPT’s Compliance Workshop, updating attendees on the latest work and developments from the DVSA. I look forward to introducing myself to CPT members and discussing how we can work together in the future, to help our coach and bus industry thrive as we exit lockdown.”
