Roberts Travel Group of Coalville is celebrating winning its first regional awards.
The operator was recognised in two categories at the SME Leicestershire and Rutland Business Awards, held in Rutland Hall, Rutland, last month.
Roberts Travel Group was “gold winner” in the “Business of the year – more than 50 employees” award.
In addition, the organiser of private hire, holidays, excursions and local bus services picked up silver in the “High growth business of the year” category behind RÜUT Builders.
“All of the team that attended this night had such a lovely time celebrating some amazing businesses, and to win not one but two awards against such strong competition is a compliment to everyone involved in our business,” says a statement from Roberts Travel Group .
The team is now hoping to win more recognition at the SME National Business Awards at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in London in November.

The awards continues a busy period of progress for the operator, which has been undertaking work on an upgraded passenger lounge since February.
