Safeguard Coaches has confirmed the timings that its heritage fleet AEC Reliance will operate services in Guildford on Saturday 18 December. The bus will be used to mark Safeguard taking over route 18 in the town and the operator’s return to Onslow Village after a 92-year break.
Departures from Guildford bus station using the Burlingham-bodied Reliance will be at:
- 1030hrs on route 18 to Onslow Village and return
- 1054hrs on route 18 to Bushy Hill and return
- 1215hrs on route 3 to Bellfields and return
- 1300hrs on route 5 to Park Barn and return
- 1410hrs on route 4 to Park Barn and return
- 1540hrs on route 18 to Onslow Village and return.
In addition, the operator expects to have all three of its Optare Excels from 2000-2003 on routes 3, 4 and 5 during the day.
