Jack Cooper, 14, from Abingdon, has been crowned the winner of Stagecoach in Oxfordshire’s Bus Of The Future competition which saw over 20 hopefuls design a piece of artwork that illustrated what an environmentally friendly bus in the future might look like.

The public were asked to ‘like’ their favourite design from a shortlist of entries on the operator’s Facebook page.

Jack received over 390 ‘likes’ for his electric entry for the fleet’s X30 and 31 buses.

The initiative, which took place across the county in June, was launched to celebrate the city’s ‘Green Week’ and also mark the company’s own ‘Green Month’ campaign.
