Mobile Onboard was at the show previewing its new real-time passenger information system, Beam SmartLink.
Integrating with the firm’s mobile ticketing platform, My Mobile Tickets, SmartLink gives passengers all their up-to-date journey information on their smartphones, and allows them to buy bus tickets on the same web app.
It also powers real-time arrival and departure information for large screens, suitable for park-and-ride sites.
Beam SmartLink is due to launch at the end of this month.
Mobile Onboard has also updated Beam Next Stop, its talking bus app that works on both onboard screens and passengers’ smartphones.
