An Urmston park has been spruced up with the help of Stagecoach Manchester.
The instillation of a wood-sculpted bus and planting of a wide range of flowers and shrubs has helped transform Davyhulme Park. The project involved employees from the bus operator together with volunteers from One Trafford Partnership and children from the local primary school, whose year five and six pupils learned how to plant the flowers and shrubs.
The scheme was part of Stagecoach Manchester’s annual Community and Engagement week, which encourages people to learn about their surroundings and the environmental benefits of public transport.
