Temsa reported global revenue of US$462 million in 2024 and says that further growth is expected to see it reach US$1 billion in the long-term.
The 2024 total was contributed to by a 54% rise in sale in Western Europe and 49% in the United States, the Turkish coach and bus manufacturer adds. 68% of its revenue came from export markets.
Such a strong position is echoed by the Temsa Sales UK importer, which in late 2024 noted that it was on track to supply 130 new coaches here last year and expects to breach that number in 2025 as part of strong ongoing growth.
From 2021 to 2024 Temsa saw global revenue grow by 320% in US dollar terms. That position “reinforces Temsa’s growing footprint in key global markets, particularly across the United States and Europe,” the manufacturer says.
CEO Evren Güzel notes that the strong performance comes despite “significant disruptions” in the coach and bus sector. “Our latest performance not only highlights our ability to navigate uncertainty but also reaffirms our status as a leading brand in commercial transportation,” she adds.
Becoming part of the Sabancı-PPF partnership in 2020 and completing a restricting process were key to Temsa’s recent growth, Ms Güzel continues. The business is “financially robust and strategically agile,” while securing a €90 million syndicated loan from a consortium of five banks in 2024 was a further significant development.
“This financial flexibility empowers us to lead the shift towards zero-emission mobility, invest in cutting-edge technology, and further cement our position as an industry leader.”
In the future, Temsa says that it is focused on “transforming into a comprehensive mobility solutions provider” and aims “to go beyond being just a vehicle manufacturer.”
Adds Ms Güzel: “At the heart of our strategy is a commitment to customer-centric innovation. We aim to be a partner on every journey, offering cutting-edge, sustainable mobility solutions.
“Our long-term vision is clear: Temsa is on track to reach US$1 billion in revenue as a future-forward mobility leader.”
