The Founder and operator of Travel By Knight, which runs ‘the UK’s first sleeper minicoach’, is looking to make further investment in developing the business.
Alan Aim admits that the minibus, which can sleep 12 and won the UK Coach Tourism ‘Innovation of the Year’ award earlier this year, has been a “slow burner” in terms of customer demand. But he is now looking to move from his base in Scotland and is confident the sleeper bus market will develop.
“I think my plan for next year is to invest further into the sleeper bus market and probably find a base more in central England where we are just not dedicated to the Scottish market.”
He is also considering the idea of starting a scheduled service for the public.
