A celebration has taken place adjacent to the M62 in Burtonwood, near Warrington, between construction firm, Carefoot and Scania Dealer, Haydock Commercial Vehicles.
Carefoot has been appointed principal contractor to design and build the new maintenance facility at Omega Park near Warrington.
The 1.3 hectare site will host a new cutting-edge Service Centre with vehicle servicing/repair facilities and MOT bays, plus offices and ancillary facilities over the three floors. The external areas will have secure parking.
Haydock Commercial Vehicles Principal, Simon Dykes cut the first sod with Carefoot’s MD Colin Carefoot.
The project is due to start next month and will be handed over to Haydock Commercial Vehicles for operation early in 2018.
