A new four-vehicle O-Licence has been granted by Deputy Traffic Commissioner (DTC) Miles Dorrington, to the husband and wife partnership of Craig and Tracy Thomason, trading as Wigton-based Thomason Travel.
It follows the revocation, on financial grounds, of a previous O-Licence by the DTC at Golborne Public Inquiry on 10 January. The financial evidence was heard in private, but did not meet the form required by the DTC.
The revocation was delayed until 31 March to allow for a new application to be made, which was granted on 24 February, and announced in Notices & Proceedings on 8 March.
As a result, the operation has been able to continue without interruption.
