The competition has three main categories to enter, and within each, three subcategories:Â

Each operator is limited to one image submission in one of the above categories – so pick your subject carefully!
Entries will initially undergo an online vote to determine three finalists in each category (one in each subcategory). An independent judge will then select a winner in each category from the nine finalists.Â
Each winner will receive a complimentary full vehicle respray for their vehicle of choice, provided in collaboration with PPG and Bus & Coach World. PPG will provide their Delfleet One paint, with Bus & Coach World handling the respray.

The competition sought liveries that not only catch the eye but also tell the brand’s story. Over 100 operators entered with an impressive selection of vehicle designs. There were many outstanding liveries that, although not making it to the final, showcased incredible creativity and design.
Over 3,000 public votes were cast to determine the finalists. It was a close competition with every vote counting. The eight finalists’ liveries were then presented to an independent judge to determine the overall winners.
Each winner will receive a complimentary full vehicle respray for their vehicle of choice, provided in collaboration with PPG and Bus & Coach World. PPG will provide their Delfleet One paint, with Bus & Coach World handling the respray.

routeone  showcased the entries from 3 – 31 July. During this period, subscribers had the opportunity to vote for their favourite livery. Eight finalists’ entries, one from each subcategory, were selected to move forward to the final stage.
The finalists’ liveries were presented to an independent Judge, who has determined the overall winner in each category; Best Bus Livery, Best Coach Livery, and Best Mini/Midi Livery. The winners were announced on 13 August 2024.

This flagship vehicle, used for transporting the Welsh rugby team, makes a bold statement of heritage and national pride. The prominent dragon and sophisticated colour palette highlight the company’s strong ties to Wales. This luxurious design is both a symbol of quality and a standout on the road.”
Judge’s Comments: “This distinctive livery from Star Coaches of Batley effectively showcases its brand with bold graphics. The creative placement of the star around the rear wheel integrates the brand’s identity into the vehicle’s design. Combined with the well-coordinated colours, this design ensures high visibility on the road, making the livery both memorable and instantly recognisable.”Â
